Tampere is the most attractive region in Finland to live in and run a business. In addition, the future-oriented City of Tampere is investing over EUR 6 billion in the development of the city by 2030. The most popular student city in Finland is not afraid of change and the catalyst for change is cooperation.

The theme of the next Tampere Business Forum event is “Working together in a future-oriented city”. The event will include talks and discussions about cooperation between the City of Tampere, businesses and higher education institutions. We will also be addressing the challenge of the availability of skilled labor and the integration of international students.

Some of the questions we aim to address are:

  • What can the city offer for companies in the region?
  • What is the role of business and city cooperation in running a successful business?
  • What makes the region strong?
  • Why invest in the region?

The event is hosted by Helsinki-based writer, editor and broadcast journalist, Katja Pantzar. Katja was raised in Canada with stints in New Zealand and the UK. Her areas of specialism range from wellbeing and resilience to sustainability, design and business.
