EDIT: Tampere Smart City Week Expo & Conference have been postponed due to covid-19 pandemic. The new date is 14.-15.6.2022. Tampere Business Forum, Tiedon valoa (Tuni) and the 5th birthday of the Game Museum (Vapriikki) will be arranged online.
The new year will be kickstarted smartly when Tampere Smart City Week and ICT professionals’ event DigITre take their place at the turn of January and February. The number one event for smart city development, Tampere Smart City Week, is organised on 29.1.–4.2.2022. As a part of the event week, DigITre of Tampere Trade Fair Group will land at the Nokia Arena on 1.–2.2.2022, simultaneously with the TSCW conference and expo. A unique start-up event, led by the front runner in smart collaboration, ArcticStartup Media Oy, can be experienced in connection with the fair. Tampere Smart City Week is an event for everybody interested in smart city development. The event week offers interesting programme for city residents, businesses, city experts and talents. As the culmination of Tampere Smart City Week, an international smart city development conference and expo are organised on 31.1.–2.2.2022 as a hybrid event. The themes of the conference and expo are for example smart public transport system in a smart city infrastructure, reaching carbon neutrality with sustainable thinking, digital revolution, information security and security in digital services as well as making smart data into a business. The themes are initialised by the top speakers of their trade. The conference and expo are launched with an international business event, Tampere Business Forum, organised for invited guests on Monday, 31.1 at the Lapland Hotels Arena, which is streamed to everybody for free online. Technology and business are delved into on Tuesday, people, communities, and talent on Wednesday.
DigITre 2022 is an ICT professional event organised in Tampere in February which offers solutions to IT problems through case examples. The trade fair is organised at Tampere Deck Arena side by side with the conference and expo of Tampere Smart City Week. DigITre trade fair networks businesses with the right partners as well as gives the industry and professionals updated occupational harddrives. The most interesting and everyday work aiding software, services as well as machines and devices are featured. The ICT top event’s themes for 2022 are information security, modernising business, and smart solutions.
Start-up Event Arctic15 x Tampere Joins the Set
Arctic15 is a meeting place for start-up entrepreneurs, investors, businesses, and media. In connection with DigITre and TSCW Conference & Expo, ArcticStartup Media Oy will produce a unique start-up event, Arctic15 x Tampere, on Wednesday, 2.2.2022 in collaboration with Platform6 community. The event’s industries will be smart city, cleantech and bioeconomy, software, location, training and security technology as well as manufacturing industry technology. Arctic15 x Tampere functions as a pilot for the set of events which are planned to be organised annually in the future.

DigITre 2022 is an event of Tampere Trade Fair Group which is being organised in collaboration with Tampere Smart City Week’s conference and expo.
